The Natchez is an oil-on-canvas painting executed ca. 1834–35 by the French Romantic artist Eugène Delacroix. Depicts Natchez Native American mother and father with their newborn child on the banks of the Mississippi River. During the voyage, the woman was taken by pain of labor.
